The Story Behind the Glass
For me, wine has never been about points, ratings, or pretension… It’s about connection, discovery, and enjoyment. I created Glass Half Full as a reflection of both my outlook and my philosophy on wine: practical, approachable, and always rooted in positivity. Whether it’s a bottle meant for Tuesday night dinner or one destined for the cellar, wine doesn’t need to feel complicated or exclusive. It should be a source of pleasure, curiosity, and joy.
I see wine as a celebration of what’s good in life. Some of my favorites are everyday gems that bring comfort and familiarity, while others are bottles that invite patience and reverence. But, in every case, I choose wine not because of a score, but because it resonates with me and deserves a place on my list. At the end of the day, we are fortunate to share in the privilege of talking about, collecting, and enjoying wine. And my perspective will always keep my Glass Half Full. (Had to do it!)
